NEKYS Call Service

NEKYS Call Service is 24/7 to assist youth and families who could use support.

This service is available, not only in times of emergency but 24/7to assist callers to connect to services any time day or night.  Our friendly staff can be helpful in answering questions about NEKYS programs, making referrals to internal and external programs, as well as offering resources. The staff can also help brainstorm solutions to concerns, as well as to provide support by listening to the caller, and providing guidance in a time of need.

If an individual finds themselves in a true emergency, 911 should be called immediately. However many situations can be resolved through mediation and support which our on call workers are trained to provide.

On call supervisor Jen Harpin says “The most important thing I can stress about our on-call services, is just to call. If you have a situation, you can just call.”

If you or a young person finds themselves in need, please call 802-748-8732 anytime day or night to speak with a NEKYS staff member, or stop by the office between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm and ask to speak with the on-call worker.
