Riverside School Community Service Day 2015
In its 5th straight year, Riverside School selected NEKYS as one of the sites for their annual Community Service Day. The school completed several community projects on November 20th with the goal of improving the lives of others while giving back to the community. At NEKYS, a group of 5 middle school students made pumpkin pies to donate to the free Kingdom Community Service Thanksgiving Community Dinner being held at the North Church in St. Johnsbury from 11:00 am-1:00 pm this Thursday. Katie, one of the students, summed it up perfectly, “It just feels good to help people”.
